Here you will find answers to some common wedding videography questions. Please know that by no means do we think that we will answer all of your questions here, so please contact us to discuss more of your particular needs.
Our new offering is a Photo/Video fusion. This is the merger between documentary photography and video vignettes from the wedding day. It is an artistic / cinematic style best described by our Demos (click link above) At the end of this year, you will be able to see five Fusion videos.
Along with our Fusion video, we deliver the raw footage on the same DVD. This way, you can see your entire ceremony and what we filmed for the other special events like toasts.
While we have shot almost 200 wedding videos, we are now offering something very different. It is called Photo/Video fusion. Since we are switching our offering, we have only a limited number of demos on the site currently. We have five Fusion videos this year and will update the site as they are completed.
Video captures what photos can’t — sounds and movement. Though photography is wonderful, video brings it to life even more.
We wear all black attire which is specifically purposed to identify us as one of the people working for you on your wedding day. We sort of try to blend in with the guests at your wedding (as well as you can blend in while carrying a camera). If you are having a formal wedding, traditionally the DJ, Band, and some of the caterers may wear a tux, but photographers and videographers usually wear black only. You don’t want us to look like the groomsmen.
The Fusion part of the video is between 7-12 minutes in length. The documentary part of the video will be longer, of course. The time varies by the length of the ceremony.
We work exclusively with Colorado Wedding Photographer – Kelli Nixon. We made the decision to switch to this offering for 2011 and beyond.
